Real Autumn Looks 🍂

October always feels like the month when dressing starts to get interesting again. You can finally play with layers, shoes make sense again, and colours feel richer. I like this moment , the in-between weeks when you start mixing textures, finding new proportions, and giving summer pieces a second life under jackets or knits.

These are my real autumn looks, a mix of comfort, structure and colour, that make you want to go out for a walk even if it’s just to get a croissant! 🥐

As always, nothing too planned , just the game of getting dressed every morning, Miró style.

LOOK 1 : Red + Ice

A sky blue knit and red corduroy bermudas, the kind of mix that shouldn’t work but always does. I like the energy of these colours together, especially when the weather turns grey. The long socks make it playful and grounded at the same time and the shoes are pure “dad” style, which somehow makes it even better.

LOOK 2 : Lemon and grass

If colours had feelings, this would be pure serotonin. A soft yellow knit with green corduroy, printed socks, and platform shoes , because walking around in grey weather dressed like a crayon is a good idea sometimes.

LOOK 3 :  Red Restart

I’ve always been into red , it’s such a strong colour, one that instantly gives energy to you and to the people around you. Every season I find a way to bring it back, but this autumn it feels especially right. With colour blocking making a strong return , just look at Celine under Michael Rider (I love it) , it felt like the perfect time to play.

Here, I mixed a red open knit with a classic blue striped shirt and cobalt trousers, finished with the comfiest slippers (because they’re here to stay) and a printed clutch.

In short: perfect for grey days when you need a bit of life.

LOOK 4 : The Book Club

A check cardigan, wool culottes, and socks in a pop of blue . This look really feels like an afternoon at the library. 📚 I find this one quite interesting!

LOOK 5 : Checkmate

A diamond pattern knit that makes me feel like I’m winning at dressing. The cropped trousers and loafers keep it classic, but the oversized necklace gives it that little drama I can’t resist. It’s the kind of outfit that says, “I’ve got this,” even if you don’t.

LOOK 6 : The Grey Midi

Leggings under a skirt , it suddenly feels so moderno. A mix I wouldn’t have worn a few years ago, but now it just works. Maybe it’s the sneakers of the season (or of all seasons) and that touch of red on the collar that make it feel alive. Comfortable, a little offbeat, and perfectly now.

LOOK 7 : The Pom-Pom Scarf

Same jeans, new attitude. I added this black shirt / jacket with a flared shape and a pink brown scarf tied playfully around the neck. It’s all about contrast. I love how a single accessory can change the mood completely.

LOOK 9: The White Hour

Head to toe white isn’t something I usually end up wearing, but this time I actually love it. The black loafers break it up just enough, and the golden beads keep it playful. It feels fresh, clean, and a little unexpected (at least for me) , the kind of look that’s perfect for an autumn apéro with a long trench thrown on top. Minimal, but never boring.

LOOK 10 : Utility Mood

A structured beige jacket belted tightly at the waist to exaggerate the shape , I love the idea of a utilitarian silhouette mixed with rich textures. The deep plum sneakers keep it cool and wearable, like a uniform for everyday adventures. I like how the feminine top contrasts with the more voluminous trousers and the relaxed sneakers , a mix that always feels right.

I can never resist a poncho moment in autumn. This one with earthy tones, belted at the waist, instantly gives that cozy “mountain at home” feeling. I wear it with leggings and clogs , proof that comfort can still look strong.

The look that never fails. Jeans, a white tee, a short corduroy jacket and loafers ,when in doubt, it’s the formula. I just added a gold chain to make it feel a bit more sophisticated or at least to pretend I planned it.

A bit of colour therapy to start the season. Mint trousers paired with a striped shirt feel instantly fresh, especially with a tan cropped jacket and a knit tied at the waist. Because mint pants feel as refreshing as brushing your teeth , but better dressed.

Chocolate and red stripes on the trousers, matched with a retro geometric knit , this look feels very 70s academic. I love the strong vertical lines and the way the suede bag and shoes add warmth. It’s a “back to work” palette but done my way.

LOOK 17 : The Painter’s Shirt

There’s something artistic about this oversized striped shirt that’s stayed at the top of my favourites for years. The abstract print feels like a kid’s drawing (which it actually is!), and I love how it contrasts with the classic pinstripe trousers. The low suede boots and the vintage python bag ground the look, a little masculine, a little effortless. It’s that kind of outfit that feels undone but completely intentional.
